Corporate Accounting Manager
Salary Range DOE: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Due to a strong level of growth, we are searching for an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager. We are looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day activities; as well as implement our accounting policies, procedures, and best practices. This will be the first hire for our internal accounting department. Therefore, we need someone that can build the department, while also acting as a full-charge bookkeeper.
This position will work a hybrid schedule, with four days per week in our office in Miami, FL. Our office is currently located in Miami, Florida (Coconut Grove area), but will be moving to the Brickell area within the next 6-8 weeks. Therefore, it is important you reside within a reasonable commute to our office. This position will report to the CEO.
What you will do
- Establish and take ownership of Aardy’s accounting department.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including, but not limited to:
- Month and year-end process.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- General Ledger
- Payroll Tax Compliance
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Account Reconciliations
- Ad Hoc Reporting
- Accruals/Depreciation
- Monitor and analyze accounting data; produce financial reports or statements.
- Provide recommendations.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Set and maintain a fiscal calendar of corporation’s obligations.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- Coordinate and work with external accounting firm for tax purposes.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced computer skills to include MS Office and standard accounting software and databases.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to direct and supervise.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Live within a reasonable commute of our office in the Coconut Grove (soon to be Brickell) area in Miami, Fl.

Talent Acquisition Manager

Due to a strong level of growth, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager with experience in the insurance industry or a call center environment to join our team. This position will work a hybrid schedule. Our office is currently located in Miami, Florida (Coconut Grove area), but will be moving to the Brickell area within the next 6-8 weeks. This is a new position, and we need someone who can hit the ground running. It is also an excellent opportunity to make this position your own and help build the talent acquisition department from the ground up.

What you will do
- Collaborate and continuously communicate with the hiring managers from all departments to assist with their full-cycle recruitment needs. This includes but is not limited to:
- Draft job descriptions and post available positions via our ATS (Trakstar) and other relevant job boards.
- Screen resumes/applicants.
- Communicate with applicants throughout the recruitment process.
- Interviews (phone, virtual).
- Administer applicable skills tests.
- Document your interactions with applicants and keep thorough notes for each candidate.
- Forward appropriate candidate to the hiring manager/s in a timely manner for subsequent interviews.
- Facilitate the offer process; including creating offer letters, negotiations, answering questions, closing the candidate.
- Communicate and collaborate with the HR Manager regarding new hires to ensure they are entered in payroll and other HR related platforms in a timely manner.
- Timely status and progress updates to the department heads, hiring managers, and HR manager.
- Sourcing
- Research and implement processes, procedures, and trends to help Aardy attract top talent.
- Reporting and metrics.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Talent acquisition experience for a call center environment.
- 3+ years of experience with applicant tracking systems. We currently use Trakstar Hire and would prefer you have experience with this ATS, but experience with comparable ATS programs is acceptable.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (at minimum Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written command of the English language.
- Professional communication skills as well as the ability to communicate with various personality types.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Organized with a great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Live within a reasonable commute of our office in the Coconut Grove (soon to be Brickell) area in Miami, Fl.
Not mandatory, but nice to have
- Talent acquisition experience in the insurance industry.
- Insurance license. Not required, but knowledge of the insurance industry is expected.
- Travel insurance knowledge.

- Indeed, we have no sales targets whatsoever.
- Your responsibility is to serve the customer.
- Our job is simple – we find the lowest priced policy that serves their needs.

- You will need to have a deep understanding of the coverage benefits in every plan we offer.
- You will need to be a master communicator – ours is a complex insurance product, so it is essential that we are able to talk about it in a language that our customers can understand.

- When not engaged with customers you could be writing – creating useful articles that will be loaded onto our site. Or you may be creating and updating our internal database. There are several opportunities for you to continue helping our clients indirectly.
- You will be directed, of course, so if you are comfortable as a researcher and a writer, there are always writing assignments to tackle.
